materials and sustainability
The EXPED Polaris 2P is made from high-quality and environmentally friendly materials. The tent floor is made of 70 D Tafetta nylon with a water column of 10,000 mm. The outer tent is a VentAir Ripstop 3-layer laminate, also with a water column of 10,000 mm and an MVTR of 30,000 g/m²/24h. The poles are made of DAC Featherlite NSL 9 mm TH72M with environmentally friendly green anodizing.
No PFCs were used in the production of this tent and it carries the Oeko-Tex® 100 certificate, which stands for textiles tested for harmful substances. In addition, EXPED compensates for all climate emissions that arise during the production and transport of this product through certified climate protection projects from myclimate.
