Just a quick note

Our terms and conditions govern how renting and buying works at Eddy's Adventure. To save you the trouble of wading through legal texts, we've summarized the most important points here in a clear and concise manner.

Rent, purchase and rent-to-own

At Eddy's Adventure, you can buy outdoor equipment outright, rent it for a specific period, or rent it first and decide to buy it later. With rent-to-own, we fairly credit any rental fees already paid if you decide to keep the product.

Contract and order

A contract is formed as soon as you submit your order and we confirm it or ship the equipment. Until then, you can change your details or cancel the order process at any time.

Prices and Payment

All prices include VAT. Any shipping costs will be clearly displayed during the order process. You can choose from several secure payment methods. In the event of a chargeback, we may pass on any resulting fees.

Shipping and delivery

We will ship your equipment in time for your desired rental start date. Please note that delivery times depend on shipping providers and therefore cannot always be guaranteed. Should a product unexpectedly be unavailable, we will inform you immediately and refund any payments already made.

Rental period and return

You choose the rental period yourself when booking. After the last day of the rental period, you have two days to return the equipment to us using the free return label. If the return arrives later, the rental period will automatically be extended by the day until the equipment is back with us.

Equipment condition

Our rental products may be new or previously used. Importantly, all products are fully functional, tested, and cleaned. Minor signs of wear are normal for rental equipment and nothing to worry about.

Care in handling

Please handle the rented equipment with care and use it only as intended by the manufacturer. Pay particular attention to fire, moisture, and improper cleaning, as these can permanently damage the products. The equipment may not be sublet or modified.

Damages – fairly settled

We repair minor, repairable damage professionally and only charge you for the actual repair costs. If a product is no longer usable due to damage, we consider it a total loss. In this case, we charge you the purchase price of the product, not the new price.

Many damages are covered by your personal liability insurance. We are happy to assist you with photos and invoices.

Loss or theft

In case of loss or theft of the rented equipment, you are liable up to the amount of our purchase price, unless the loss or theft was caused intentionally or by gross negligence. If the equipment is later found and is still usable, we will reimburse you for the costs in full or in part.

Cancellation and return

You can cancel rental agreements up to seven working days before the rental period begins. Purchased products can be returned within 14 days. Returns should be sent securely packaged. You can find more detailed information in our full terms and conditions.

Warranty and guarantee

All products are covered by statutory warranty rights. If anything is wrong, please contact us. We will find a quick and easy solution.

You decide how long you need the equipment! Simply choose the appropriate rental period at www.eddysadventure.de - whether for a weekend, a week or longer. This way you have the right equipment exactly when you need it.

Once you have everything together, you can go to the quick and secure checkout . After your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email and we will prepare your equipment. So that you can start without any worries, your package will arrive at the latest on the first day of rental . Your adventure can begin! 🚀🌿

Payment options

You can pay conveniently with Klarna, credit card, PayPal, Google Pay or Apple Pay - safe and flexible. We do not charge a deposit because we trust that you value our high-quality outdoor equipment as much as we do. And don't worry - we won't start counting the tent pegs. It is important to us that you can enjoy your adventure without any worries!

Delivery directly to your home

As soon as you have rented your outdoor equipment, we will get it ready for your adventure. Your order will be delivered reliably to your desired address by DHL - just in time for the start of your adventure. We currently deliver to the following countries: Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden.

We rely on sustainable packaging and are currently switching to reusable shipping boxes . We reuse packaging material and boxes as long as it is reasonable. In this way, we all help to conserve resources and avoid unnecessary waste. So you can concentrate fully on your tour - we'll take care of the rest!

Return or purchase option – you decide!

After your adventure, you can easily return the rented equipment. There is a free return label in every package so you can return the products conveniently and at no additional cost.

If you fall in love with a product during your tour and don't want to give it away, you can keep it for an attractive price . You can ask us directly about the purchase price - and the best part: the rental price you have already paid will be credited towards it! This way you get high-quality outdoor equipment at a fair price and can continue to use it for your adventures.

What happens if damage occurs during the rental period?

Outdoor adventures are bound to leave their mark. Minor signs of wear and tear are normal and not a problem. However, should any damage occur to the equipment during your rental, we at Eddy's Adventure will handle it fairly and transparently.

We professionally repair minor, repairable damage ourselves. In this case, we only charge you for the actual repair costs. Upon request, you will receive clear documentation, such as photos or a repair invoice.

If a product is damaged beyond repair, we consider it a total loss. In this case, we will charge you the purchase price of the product, meaning the price we paid to acquire the equipment ourselves. A new price or a recommended retail price will not be applied.

Many types of damage to rented outdoor equipment are covered by personal liability insurance. You can submit the claim there. We are happy to assist you with all the necessary documents, such as invoices, damage descriptions, and photos.
