Height-adjustable carrying system for optimal comfort

The height-adjustable comfort carrying system of the Lightning 60 allows you to adjust the backpack to your individual back length. The minimal contact points and the central aluminum strut ensure excellent load transfer to the hips while offering freedom of movement in all directions. The padded hip belt with a length of 87 to 145 cm ensures additional carrying comfort, even with a maximum load of up to 24 kg.

Well thought-out storage solutions for your equipment

The practical roll-top closure of the main compartment gives you quick access to your equipment and allows you to flexibly expand the packing volume. Side pockets made of elastic material offer space for water bottles, trekking poles or tent poles. Additional zipped pockets on the hip belt and in the upper part of the backpack ensure that you always have important items to hand.

Secure attachment for additional equipment

Zig-zag compression straps on the sides and a strap that runs across the backpack with quick-release hooks keep your equipment, such as sleeping pads or flysheets, securely in place. For mountaineers, the Lightning 60 offers special loops for attaching ice tools and a central daisy chain for additional equipment.

Robust and environmentally friendly materials

Made from 210 D HMPE ripstop nylon and recycled 600 D Oxford Cordura polyester, the backpack is not only extremely lightweight, but also water-repellent and PFC-free. The materials are PU-coated and offer a water column of 1500 mm, so your equipment remains protected even in changeable weather conditions.
